Stars Basil Rathbone, Nigel Bruce, Gerald Hamer, Paul Cavanaugh and Ian Wolfe. Holmes and Watson head to a small village in Canada to investigate the murder of a woman. Their client, the murdered woman herself who had a premonition that she would die and wrote Holmes. Her husband is none to happy that Holmes comes tromping around is a non-believer in a supernatural horror that grips the town. The horror is a glowing monster that roams the woods at night, tearing people' throats out! The most horror-like of the Rathbone Holmes movies and a great entry in the series.
