Stars Boris Karloff, Peter Lorre, Max Rosenbloom, Larry Parks, Jeff Donnell and Maude Euburne. Made to be in the feel of Karloff's popular stage play ARSENIC AND OLD LACE. A household full of eccentrics includes inventor/doctor Karloff. Karloff has invented a machine to create a race of "supermen." But all the machine appears to do is kill the subject! Local jack-of-all-trades (Peter Lorre) wants to invest in Karloff's device. Lorre is just as wacky as the rest of the household. A young woman searching for antiques, and her fiancee find there way to the backwoods household and stumble upon the craziness. Nutty. Karloff and Lorre are simply great.
