Finding this movie is like finding some forgetton curiosity in the bottom of an old dusty chest that had been sitting in an attic corner for years. A huge brute man in Egypt kidnaps a beautiful young woman who was washing clothes in the Nile River. He enslaves her in an ancient tomb, where she must live in darkness. A Britsish explorer employs, with difficulty, a guide to this haunted ancient tomb. There on the wall, the scarphagus of a mummy's eyes move. In reality, this is the only way the trapped young woman can look out of her prison. The explorer rescues her and brings her back to England. The brute man, enraged, vows to track her down a nd kill her.
This movie has a VERY unusual ending for an early silent. Music score.
