John Wayne as "Mason," and his sidekick (played by Blue Washington) return to a small ghost town to reclaim Mason's part interest in an abandoned gold mine. He meets the other trustee, played by Sheila Terry) and together they find mystery and murder. A truly "Weird Western" with a haunted ranch house, a mysterious phantom of the mine and dark passages. One of the best spooky westerns!
