Arguably Hammer's best vampire film (even without Chris Lee). Some of the most memorable (yet seldom seen) scenes to come out of Hammer. The opening sequence features a view from INSIDE the coffin as a female vampire is staked! Plus, a hoard of bats come crashing through a huge stain glassed window. Well-acted and truly creepy.
