Stars Joseph Cotton and Barbara Stanwyck. A woman visits her fiances grandfather in an old mansion. It appears the the housekeepers are trying to kill him for an inheritance. They see the woman as a threat and the danger and mystery begin. A mysterious man in a cloak is around every corner adding to the mystery.
