FRIDAY October 16, 2026

DEALER & GUEST OF HONOR SIGNING HOURS 3 PM - 9 PM

MOVIE & EVENT ROOM HOURS 9:00 AM - 2:30 AM

9:00 AM - 16mm FILM: MONSTERS WE'VE KNOWN AND LOVED. It's our traditional opening short film. A documentary produced back in 1964. A look at the classics from the early days through the eyes of 1964. Narrated by Joseph Cotten. Introduced with a special announcement and welcome to the Monster Bash by Ron Adams.

10:00 AM - MOVIE: VOODOO MAN (1944) This is the one. It has John Carradine as an idiot with hair flopping in his face, George Zucco as a gas station attendant moonlighting as a voodoo priest, a cast of beautiful female zombies AND Lugosi in a wonderfully restrained role that emits sincerity. And, Bela's got a cool beard. A barrel of zombie fun.

11:30 AM - TALK: BILL DIAMOND on BASIL GOGOS! Don't miss award winning producer and muppeteer Bill Diamond. Bill handles the art from the estate on FAMOUS MONSTERS cover artist Basil Gogos. His new and on-going projects announced!

12:30 PM - MOVIE: SON OF FRANKENSTEIN (1939) Boris Karloff in the role of the Universal Classic monster for the last time in a feature film. Bela Lugosi shines as Ygor...stealing the show. Rathbone & Atwill take turns chewing the scenery. What sheer entertainment! Lush expressionistic sets and bold direction makes for a great movie.

2:30 PM MOVIE: THE GHOST OF FRANKENSTEIN (1942) Bela's back, reprising his great performance as broken-necked Ygor! Lon Chaney Jr. is a hulking and frightening Frankenstein monster...full of power and evil. Sir Cedric Hardwicke is Dr. Frankenstein and Lionel Atwill's eyes gleam as the power-crazed mad doctor Bowmer.

3:00 PM - DEALER BALLROOM OPENS! Get the creepy cool collectibles you want before some other Monster Kid gets them!

4:00 PM - MOVIE: NIGHT OF TERROR (1933)  Bela Lugosi as a mysterious servant sporting a turban (have they gone out of style?). A scientist works on a serum that preserves life and has himself buried alive. To top it off, there's a Mr. Hyde like monster loose in the woods.

5:30 PM - MOVIE: THE RAVEN (1935) Bela Lugosi shines as a Poe obsessed doctor...evil to the core. Karloff as a gangster mutilated into a murderous monster by Lugosi. A dark house, torture chambers...Karloff growling like the Frankenstein monster. Total fun.

6:00 PM - Q&A: LYNNE LUGOSI-SPARKS. Guest of Honor Lynne Lugosi discusses her grandfather, father, and The Lugosi Legacy that continues on as a celebration of Bela Lugosi. Find out what's new at Lugosi Entertainment. Q&A moderated by John Bishop.

6:30 PM - MOVIE: MARK OF THE VAMPIRE (1935) The re-telling of LONDON AFTER MIDNIGHT (1927) about a vampire and his daughter sucking a village dry. A murder mystery twist and lots of fun and great thirties atmosphere. Stars Bela Lugosi, Carol Borland, Lionel Atwill and Lionel Barrymore. A scene of the female vampire (Luna) flying within the high ceilinged castle/mansion is brief, but haunting. Directed by Tod Browning.

7:30 PM - MOVIE: THE TINGLER (1959) Vincent Price is giving it his all, making the unbelievable, believable. A creature that looks like a giant centipede grows in people's backs when they are frightened; they're called tinglers. Price goes through a bout with LSD, A man scares his wife to death and the tingler gets loose in a theatre! William Castle directs. Watch for the famous color scene with the bathtub of blood!

9:00 PM - Q&A: VICTORIA PRICE. A guest favorite at Monster Bash. The daughter of the one and truly only Vincent Price. This is your chance to ask Victia about one of our heroes. She grew with her dad doing fun things, hanging out on sets, elevating the arts, cooking, and being ane amazing man. Moderated by Ron Adams.

10:00 PM - MEXICAN MOVIE NIGHT: THE BODY SNATCHER (1957) aka: LADRON DE CADAVERES. The film that spawned all of the Mexican wrestlers meet the monsters projects.  A mad scientist transplants the brain of a gorilla into an easy-going good-guy wrestler.  Soon, as he gets riled up, he begins to physically change into a blood-thirst beast with hideous fangs and shock hair!  You might remeber this horrible drooling monster from the pages of old Famous Monster magazines.  In Spanish, with English subtitles. A special request by long-time Monster Basher, Vincent Simonelli. Hosted by author Thom Shubilla! Free bags of Mexi-chips for the room as supplies last.

11:30 PM - MONSTER MAGIC SHOW: It's the unpredictable David "The Rock" Nelson with perhaps the craziest magic show you'll ever see! We all know David for the "no budget" monster movies...but, I have seen him do some really excellent legerdemain with coins  and he did do some magic on stage at Bash over ten years ago. He's actually pretty darn good. Regardless, this will be entertainment! He might even call you on stage to participate.

12:00 MIDNIGHT MOVIE: PLAN 9 FROM OUTER SPACE (1957). Watching PLAN 9 is an event not to be taken lightly...though not truly the worst film ever made (as advertised by many), it's inspired high camp from director Ed Wood. Tor Johnson gets lots of lines to speak, Vampira doesn't do any (she doesn't need any!) and fleeting scenes of our hero, Bela Lugosi in his Dracula cape for a final time. Then there's the chiropractor who filled in for Lugosi's characte, holding a cape over his face! A special colorized version, to cap off one fun Friday at MONSTER BASH!
