Stars Lon Chaney and Johnny Arthur. A young man who has aspirations of becoming a detective is surprised on a roadway by a strange man. He investigates and finds a secluded sanatorium. The place is full of odd characters and run by a mysterious Dr. Ziska. Ziska (played by Chaney) is experimenting on dead bodies and live victims in his basement laboratory!
A horror-comedy with some excellent lab sets and use of light and shadows.
