Stars John Carradine, Tony Eisley, Robert Alan Browne and Maureen Dawson. An ancient mummy princess is found undecomposed, for some mysterious reason. Her name sounds like Ananka (hmmm, familiar). She revives and possesses one of the explorers to do her bidding. She sets upon him the curse of the Jackal. This makes him turn into a werewolf (Jackal). When there's a full moon he gets real hairy and nasty. The only way to rid the curse is to do what this immortal princess commands. In the meantime, the princesses lover from ancient times (whose name spells Kharis backwards!) also rises from his ancient tomb. He's a traditional shambling, wrapped mummy with one messed-up eye and a limp. If you thought Lon Chaney Jr. was too overweight to be playing a mummy, wait till you see this bruiser. He's jealous of the Jackal guy and a showdown is on the way. Truly, low budget....oh, my aching head.
