This first feature length version of Dicken's A CHRISTMAS CAROL was originally produced, starring Seymour Hicks, in 1913, in England as SCROOGE. It was then re-titled OLD SCROOGE and re-edited for the United States as OLD SCROOGE. Ab amazing part of film history. Bonus: another version of A CHRISTMAS CAROL from 1929, one of the rarest starring H.V. Esmond.
