SCREAM IN THE NIGHT (1935) - DVD

Lon Chaney Jr. in a great dual role early in his career. A lot of early projects for Chaney Jr. had him in small supporting roles, but he's two leads in this one. A detective AND a grungy, slimy killer who looks astonishingly like Chaney Sr. Kind of a combination of the ROAD TO MANDALAY character and the WEST OF ZANZIBAR character. He sports a terribly scarred right eye, unshaven appearance and unkempt hair. Probably the first Chaney Jr. thriller with him in a big role.
