Stars Danny Kaye, Virginia Mayo and Boris Karloff. A daydreamer that has wild fantasies of being a hero in wild adventures finds himself entangled in a real-life dangerous situation. A beautiful blonde and a syndicate of murder requires Mitty to use his imagination in the real world. A notorious scene of Boris Karloff made-up by Jack Pierce as the Frankenstein Monster was cut from the release. Only tantalizing stills of it remain (perhaps the film footage is lost forever). Karloff still plays a wonderful role of sinister menace!
