SPACE CHILDREN, THE (1958) - Blu-Ray

Stars Michael Ray, Adam Williams, Peggy Webber, Johnny Wasbrook, Jackie Coogan and Russell Johnson. A huge, glowing alien brain materializes in a hidden cave near a military base. The children of scientists working on the base discover the creature which telepathically begins to control them. Much to the surprise of their parents, the kids begin working on ways to thwart a rocket launch for the alien. Russell Johnson (the professor from Gilligan's island and a host of 50s sci-fi films) plays against his usual character. He's a mean, rotten drunk in this film!
