Don't expect a high-powered action...or horror story. This is an art film that deals with the life of a child. A little girl growing up in a small European village in 1940, sees a traveling road show of FRANKENSTEIN (1931). It so moves her that it becomes part of her fantasy world. She believes the monster lives in the fields and woods near her house. A dream-vision has the monster roaming the woods. In her fantasy world she discovers a man running from the authorities and hiding in a small ruin in the fields. A thoughtful and powerful film of images and a young girl.
