Stars John Garfield and the Dead End Kids. A dishonest fighter (John Garfield) is set-up by associates as the murderer of a newspaper man. He has to live on the run and discovers a peaceful farm run by a couple of strong women. The farm's help is comprised of troubled city-kids (Leo Gorcey and gang). There he begins to learn right and wrong as his past fearfully ctches up to him.
