CANDLES AT NINE (1944) - DVD

A great, great creepy mystery. It has all the standard trapping but is better than most of its kind. An old eccentric is murdered, his estate goes to an unknown young woman relative. The other creepy relations in a big old house appear to be trying to kill her now. Well acted and well done rare shadowy horror-mystery!
