Warner Oland as Chan and Boris Karloff as a wronged opera star who's gone crazy. Lots of 1930's fun with the wry detective as he unravels a mystery oat the opera house. A great opening scene with Karloff playing he piano as a thunderstorm lights up the sky. William Demarest (Uncle Charlie from the My Three Sons TV show) is the foiled detective.
