OUANGA (1936) Considered the second voodoo-zombie movie after WHITE ZOMBIE. A woman named Klili wants to marry a fellow plantation owner, but because of her background he opts for another woman. Nothing like a woman scorned! Klili then resorts to voodoo and raises the dead to kill her rival. Really going to extremes in this low-budget zombie epic.
SHAM POO, THE MAGICIAN (1932) Stars Roscoe Ates, Hugh Herbert, Dorothy Granger, and Jack Burdett as The Monster. A film short that runs about 17 minutes. A comedy-thriller where a goofy magician resurrects a Frankenstein-type monster...and his bride!
