You either love Tod Slaughter movies or you don't. The formula's basically the same in all his films: Sleazy, rotten guy (Slaughter), is after a young pretty woman. His lecherous designs lead to deceit and murders. Before the end of the film, he's stark raving mad, laughing hysterically with glee and evil. The fun of them, is just seeing him do it again in a different setting. This time he frames a young book-keeper to get his fiancee. He's a master criminal who has no remorse in offing folks who get in his way.
Within the first 5 minutes Slaughter's strangled one guy and clubbed to death another. Within 10 minutes he's drooling over the young woman who's wearing a low-cut dress.
