"X" SHOCK TV PACKAGE PROMO PITCH - Super Collectible

Rarity!!! The classic movie monsters were released to TV stations in the SHOCK and SON OF SHOCK packages. But this is a third package that was pitched to TV station in the United States called "X." This is a large 11x14 heavy stock tri-fold pitch folder that was mailed to TV stations. Promoting the success of SHOCK and SON OF SHOCK packages and introducing the new package simply called X-SCREEN GEMS. Inside are colorful images of the Universal monsters. This new package featured titles like THE TINGLER, MOTHRA, THE GIANT CLAW, CURSE OF THE DEMON, THE ELECTRONIC MONSTER, and more. Besides the giant tri-fold images it included a copy of LOOK magazine from September 8, 1968, touting the MONSTER BOOM with Boris Karloff on the cover. And a photo copy insert from LIFE magazine featuring the popularity of classic monsters. The cover features a weird monster face that could be cut-out (perhaps getting TV station program directors to take it home and realize how much their kids would love it!). The cover proudly screams SHOCK-ING, ISN'T IT!!! Luckily the cover was not cut-out and the inserts, including the LOOK magazine are in excellent condition. The blank back cover does have a kid's pencil marks, indicating that some TV station employee took this home to his kid.
